Intercept (PBS) Protein-Free Blocking Buffers are formulated to provide highly efficient blocking and low background variability for replicable quantitative Western blots and other immunoassays. This buffer contains no proteins, for assays where use of animal-based products is prohibited. They are an excellent choice for biotin-streptavidin detection and suitable for a wide range of applications, including Western blots, In-Cell Western™ assays, and protein arrays. Intercept (PBS) Protein-Free Blocking Buffer is a ready-to-use blocker formulation in phosphate-buffered saline and is stored at 4 °C. It contains no sodium azide, making it suitable for both near-infrared or chemiluminescent detection.

10X Tris Buffered Saline - Tween (TBST) is a buffer-surfactant solution supporting a stable pH range between 7.4 and 8.0. StabilCoat Immunoassay Stabilizer, and the 5X concentrate, effectively preserves the conformation and activity of dried proteins while simultaneously blocking the surface to reduce non-specific binding. The product can be used to stabilize antibodies, antigens or enzymes on an assortment of immunoassay components including polystyrene plates, tubes, glass, membranes, and filter paper.
Leica Biosystems PEROXIDASE BLOCK NOVOCASTRA
Novocastra Peroxidase Block, RE7101, is intended for use in the peroxidase based immunohistochemical (IHC) staining procedures. The presence of pseudoperoxidase (erythrocytes) and endogenous peroxidase in paraffin sections to be stained by immunoperoxidase procedures, can result in nonspecific staining. A method for the blocking of pseudoperoxidase was described (StreefkerkJG, Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry. 20: 829 (1972)). This product is used in a peroxidase based IHC procedure. Incubating sections with Novocastra Peroxidase Block, RE7101, can neutralize endogenous peroxidase activity. 25 mL of reagent is supplied.
